Winter doldrums CURED
Who couldn't be cheered up by the spritely blossoms of the paperwhite? I love forcing these bulbs
indoors around Christmastime. On my walks around the neighborhood (which are especially brisk
this time of year!) these appear in countless yards, pushing up through the ground, shaking their snowy
white fists at the cold, reminding us that spring is near.
As if I needed another reason to adore my local Publix . . .
. . . this morning, I find these little beauties in the produce section. No, those are not regular limes, but
KEY LIMES! Have you ever seen anything so precious? I photographed them next to a regular-sized
lemon so you could marvel at their petite cuteness.
I sense a key lime pie in our future.
